Biosolids / Sediment

ASI routinely analyzes biosolids and compost samples for compliance with the 40 CFR Part 503(Standards for the Use or Disposal of Sewage Sludge) regulations that govern the land application of biosolids. ASI has also analyzed water and sediment samples from complex Superfund sites (Gownas Canal, Newtown Creek, Passaic River) for pathogens and indicators.

In addition, ASI analyzes non-compliance biosolids samples for clients throughout the U.S., for their internal data, process monitoring and special projects.  Typically, these non-compliance projects have included Cryptosporidium and Giardia, coliphage and other organisms.
